CCRF is a statewide reproductive and sexual health, rights, and justice coalition of more than 50 independent organizations. Together, our members work to influence state policy in order to protect and expand reproductive rights and promote access to a full range of culturally appropriate reproductive and sexual health services and education for all California residents.

CCRF came together as a coalition more than 30 years ago so that women's health and reproductive rights advocates in California could share information and coordinate advocacy positions in order to maximize the effectiveness of advocacy in this arena. From the beginning, members have represented diverse disciplines: medical, legal, grassroots, faith-based and consumer advocacy organizations. Since its inception, CCRF has grown from approximately 6 organizations to today's more than 50 member organizations.

CCRF as a coalition does not take policy positions or lobby specific bills, budget items or administrative procedures. Rather, we provide a forum for member organizations to have private and complex discussions about policies and issues, identify shared concerns and priorities, and collaborate on advocacy positions and strategies. CCRF meets face-to-face several times a year, holds monthly conference calls on specific issues, and maintains an e-alert system for members to share information and develop strategies for action.

CCRF is membership-based and members must be organizations or groups that:

The Coalition does not accept individuals as members or supporting members. For more information on joining CCRF, please contact us.
